about

Chionoecetes opilio, also known as snow crab, is a predominantly epifaunal crustacean native to shelf depths in the northwest Atlantic Ocean and north Pacific Ocean.

How do you eat snow crab?

  1. Add the snow crab legs and sake to a large pot and cover with a tight fitting lid.

  2. Turn the heat onto high and bring to a boil.

  3. Turn the heat down to medium low and steam until the crab is warmed through (2-3 minutes).
